AKIS is a national platform for agricultural knowledge and innovation that brings together a community of people and institutions to promote mutual learning and to create, share and use the latest technologies, knowledge, and information related to agriculture.
The platform performs two main functions for users:
- Educational — helping users find information in their field of activity
- Communicative — enabling communication with other users participating in the system through discussion topics and publications.

This module features functionality for advance notifications to beekeepers regarding planned pesticide treatments (PPP – Plant Protection Products), as well as tools for locating apiaries and facilitating communication between farmers and beekeepers.
